NIQUEA.D is a lifestyle brand conceived and developed by Schurman Retail Group. The name originates from Dominique Andrea Schurman’s name, the company’s CEO and brand visionary.

Schurman Retail Group, a privately held family business has a long legacy of successfully bringing exciting and compelling brands to the market. It began in 1950 when Dominique’s parents introduced consumers to the Marcel Schurman brand. During their 30-year stewardship, they expanded the business and launched PAPYRUS. Dominique joined the company in 1982 to further develop those brands; PAPYRUS’ leading market position is testament to her success.

Today, Schurman Retail Group owns and operates more than 400 retail stores in North America operating under the PAPYRUS, American Greetings, Carlton Cards, and Paper Thread brands. Schurman Retail Group also manages Clintons, a 400 store group in the United Kingdom. NIQUEA.D adds a unique, innovative and distinctive brand to our portfolio of lifestyle retail concepts.

Initiated and launched in 2011 exclusively in PAPYRUS stores across North America, NIQUEA.D is proud to unveil its first Flagship Boutique in Danville, California - bringing to life a true oasis of irresistible treasures designed to intrigue and inspire. And as the Brand celebrates its two-year anniversary in April 2013, it is poised for an exhilarating journey ahead, brimming with an abundance of exciting developments on the horizon.
